In all honesty I cannot think of anything theoretical to write about in the moment but which is because I've 'had my head within the weeds' for the past couple of weeks. I have been performing the performing of Seo (for myself and at perform) very intensely and that has left little time for thinking about how or why we do the items we do in the performing of Seo.
That stated (and I promise I won't repeat it), I occasionally hear from buddies who're in transit. It appears to me that I've heard from more than several lately ('lately' becoming something like 'this year'). I don't usually speak of my friends and co-workers online because, nicely, frankly that keeps me out of trouble.
So I believed I would break with tradition and introduce you, my readers (and on the internet friends) to some of my other pals who also have connections using the Search engine optimization industry. And let me say that I've ulterior motives for doing this, not the least becoming that I am tired of seeing these people not be observed. I have often (well, occasionally) stated that the majority of Search engine optimization specialists and gurus and wizards don't actually promote themselves online. I think that to be accurate.
I also think that's a shame, since numerous folks are really struggling to distinguish themselves from the crowd when searching for new customers, applying for jobs, or just trying to share an opinion somewhere in a meeting or in their offices. Here are a couple of individuals whose Seo and advertising opinions mean some thing to me. Some of them could at present be taking on clients. Some of them might be in a position to assist YOU. I'll list them alphabetically by last name.
Nicolette Beard first contacted me before I left Houston in 2006. We met when or twice in person and have spoken on the phone a number of occasions and have exchanged more than a few emails. I can't say I have worked with Nicolette but she has more than 20 years' experience in marketing, at least five years' expertise in online marketing and advertising (including operating for a major company and doing consulting function), and she nearly persuaded me to go into business with her'except that I had already produced a career selection to leave Houston. To this day I have wondered if operating with Nicolette wouldn't have provided at least as fantastic a path as the one I have led so far.
Nicolette's independent consulting firm is Searchlight Marketing and advertising. I wish I could say I've stayed in touch with her enough to know when she is taking on clients but I do not. She did let me know earlier this year she had moved to the Naples, FL location and I see that she is now connected with the American Business Womens' Association Neapolitan chapter in Florida. Nicolette is wise, tenacious, insightful, and motivated. I would recommend her any day of the week.
Carlos Del Rio was an Search engine optimization technician at Visible Technologies when I began working there in 2006. Carlos and the 'traditional' or 'core' Seo team handled a lot of clients with a diverse set of needs. As Director of Search Strategies I was occasionally asked to create myself accessible towards the core Seo team as a secondary voice of authority but most of our conversations delved into all that theoretical stuff I've been writing about for the past numerous years. Carlos is smart, intuitive, and methodical and he made me believe on more than one occasion. You will find also much more than a handful of Seo Theory articles that were written after Carlos and I had discussed some esoteric stuff in detail.
You could already know Carlos as the co-author of User Driven Change and also the CEO at Agillian Advertising Services. I've never noticed Carlos present himself as a theorist inside the field of search engine optimization but if there's an Seo Theorist's club and if you need to be voted in, Carlos has my vote. Take that for what it is worth.
I don't much like his current Twitter picture but I'd work with Carlos once more any time.
Sae Dvorak is a Net designer who worked on my team at Visible Technologies for a couple of years. She handled each crazy project I threw at her and on several occasions exceeded my expectations. To say that I sometime asked the Web designers to take some really boring concepts and make them exciting doesn't do justice to the designers. Sae's work was imaginative and inspirational. Sae came to us having a total set of Internet design skills and a simple understanding of Seo. She would be an asset to any organization that desires to develop a creative team that gets online advertising.
When I heard from Sae recently she was freelancing and also looking for a lot more permanent opportunities. Should you want some great freelance work, now is the time to connect with her. If your business is looking for a solid Internet developer who knows website structure inside out, you'd be crazy not to reach out to Sae. I cannot advocate her function enough.
Bo Seeger was also a member of Visible Technologies' 'core' Search engine optimization team when I started working there. Like Carlos Bo is extremely wise but though he always handled the theoretical discussions well (as well as helped teach our Seo classes) Bo has always enjoyed the hands-on challenge of turning a web site around, increasing traffic, and satisfying those hard-to-please clients. He even took on a major PPC campaign in addition to his organic Seo clients where the client demanded (and RECEIVED) a 4-to-1 return on investment.
Bo was promoted to Search engine optimization Manager at Visible Technologies and eventually succeeded me as head of the search reputation management team when I transferred to another department. He has extensive managerial expertise and can take any intern-level Seo newbie and train them up to be a competent Search engine optimization specialist in six months (give or take). Bo is at present freelancing and tells me he is taking on clients.
He's good, very good, and I would not want to have to compete against him.
Kent Yunk is a friend of mine and I have had the pleasure of working with him. He is transitioning into his own consultancy and operating with his wife Melanie's Search engine optimization firm Roaring Pajamas (I enjoy that name!). Kent Yunk is a world-class search engine optimization engineer, specialist, theorist, you-name-it. He has done some amazing projects. He knows how to scale up and can see a sick Web site a mile off. There have been days when I've been going on about theoretical stuff and Kent was the only person within the room who didn't need any explaining.
I hope I have the pleasure of working with Kent again.
These are phenomenal individuals and they've all worked miracles on behalf of other people. But they are, in my opinion, too modest about letting people know they're available (when they are available). There are, obviously, other individuals with whom I have worked about whom I could say all sorts of great items but I don't think any of them are freelancing or creating consultancies or otherwise taking on Seo clients right now.
Todd Friesen does not count ' most if not all of you ALREADY know who Todd is but let me say unequivocably that I'd be really pleased to function with Todd once more, too. And I might also mention Randy Ray, too. Great guy, very wise, a lot of expertise within the highly competitive verticals, I always enjoy chatting with him.
There are plenty of other good, intelligent people inside the field who deserve the uncommon mention on this weblog but this post is special in that I wanted to let you all know about my friends, individuals whom I really feel can deliver a high quality efficiency. I'm presently not available to take on customers. On those occasions when folks ask me for consulting, I might refer them to malaysia seo, depending on circumstances.
